Today we hear from Chris aka Cool-C. Chris is a super cool dude from Dallas, Texas. He is known on Twitter as extremelycooool.

Tell us about yourself.
My name is Chris aka Cool-C. I’m a DJ, writer, artist and all around cool dude, at least my mom tells me that. I am also the co-founder of extremelycoolwebsite.com. My girlfriend Liz and I began extremely cool website when we realized how often we use the word cool. We decided to turn our lack of desciptive vocabulary into a blog where we can post things we deem cool, and grow to include user submissions. BUT, we’re only a few weeks in so it’s primarily cool things we’ve seen or found. You gotta start somewhere right?!
How (and when) did you first come to be on Twitter, and how has the experience evolved for you?
I first came into Twitter about two years ago. I used to work as a contract web designer, and at one specific company (that will remain nameless) one of my duties was to stay up on current internet trends and watch for the next big one. It literally said that in the job description. Anyway, I read something about Twitter on Engadget. So, I clicked, looked at the homepage, was confused enough to sign up, and now it’s been two years.
Where are you located? What’s your favorite thing about where you live?
Located in Dallas, TX. I don’t really know what my absolute favorite thing about Dallas is so here are my top eight cool things about the area, in random order:
1. The Texas State Fair, where they will fry anything and sell you hot tubs, all within the same building.
2. Dolly Python.
3.PassPort Exhibit Gallery.
4. Kidrobot Mockingbird Station.
5. The Zoo – specifically the penguins and otters (although the otters at the aquarium are pretty intense as well).
6. The painted tunnel that leads into deep ellum. Its no longer there, progress marches on, but it exists in my heart.
7. Good records and bills records.
8. NY Subs.

What are you most excited about sharing with your followers?
I’m most excited about not only sharing the things I think are cool, but also having followers tweet back with cool things.
What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not online?
Well I’d always like to be spending more time at the zoo, butt I love writing music, riding my bike, and making spaghetti.
