Today we hear from Dai Manuel of Fitness Town. Dai is a health and wellness evangelist from beautiful Vancouver, B.C. On Twitter, his personal account is @daimanuel and his business account is @fitnesstown.

Tell us about yourself.

I’m first and foremost a father and husband.  Following that up, I’m a fitness equipment retailer and wholesaler, personal trainer, accountability partner/lifestyle coach, a toastmaster, and a Crossfit and hot yoga enthusiast.

How (and when) did you first come to be on Twitter, and how has the experience evolved for you?

I first came to Twitter on a personal level as @daimanuel just over a year ago.  My business, @fitnesstown, shortly followed and the experiences have been nothing short of amazing.  It has allowed me to connect with people all around the world who share similar interests.  Twitter has also allowed me to share a ton of health and wellness information to the masses.  If I can help one person a day lead a healthier, more active lifestyle, then I’m doing my part.

Where are you located? What’s your favorite thing about where you live?

Vancouver, BC, Canada.  I love the mountains, the ocean, the clean air and the fact that you can golf, sail, climb a mountain and ski all in the same day.

What are you most excited about sharing with your followers?

I enjoy sharing health and fitness tips and promoting to people the benefit of leading a healthy, active lifestyle.  It isn’t a once a week, once a month, or once a year thing – fitness and health is a lifestyle choice and is done every single day!

What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not online?

When not online I enjoy playing with my kids, playing golf, attending hot yoga and cross fit classes… and sharing moments with my sweetie over a glass of wine.
